Anorexia
Anorexia Nervosa is a disease that is characterized by sudden and severe weight loss. Girls struggling with this disease eat extremely small amounts of food. Girls with anorexia are at risk for a number of serious health problems, including osteoporosis, kidney disease, liver disease, heart failure, and even death. Often, sufferers are not aware of the serious risks posed by their condition and, therefore, may not seek the treatment they need. This deadly disorder most often effects girls but is also prevalent in males. (http://www.mirror-mirror.org/girls-with-anorexia.htm)
