Judgment
Judgment refers to a concept that may also be called “lookism.” Girls are judge on their appearance first, and therefore feel the need to invest a large amount of time into the way they look. Girls judge and access one another based off of their appearances. Girls and women are naturally battled against each other in an unspoken competition of physical appearances, a competition that is only won through the adoption of cultural standards.
