Discrimination
Girls, just as women, have experienced gender discrimination both historically and in the modern time. Nearly one in ten primary schoolgirls report being unhappy about being a girl. Reasons for these results include being made fun of because they are girls, being seen as better in subjects such as language and history rather than math and science, and from their perspective that male teachers were more intelligent then their female counterparts.
